The short version
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, anywhere. This website sets no cookies at all. The Clickit app at the court stores a few small items on your phone that it needs to work, and the club dashboard uses one login cookie. Because all of these are strictly necessary for something you have asked for, the law does not require us to ask for consent, so there is no cookie banner.
This website (clickit.ltd)
- No cookies. Browsing this website does not put any cookies on your device.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or local storage and does not follow you across other websites. It tells us things like which pages are popular, not who you are.
- Fonts. Our fonts are stored on our own website, so loading a page does not send your details to a font provider.
The Clickit app at the court
When you scan a court’s QR code, the app stores these items in your browser’s local storage on your phone. They stay on your phone and are not used to track you.
- Court key (
clickit_key_<court>). The key from the QR code, so you can see and capture that court’s clips without typing a password, even if your phone locks. Strictly necessary. - Notice agreed (
clickit_consent_<court>). Remembers that you have already agreed the capture notice on that court, so it is not shown before every capture. Strictly necessary. - Sound setting (
clickit_sound_enabled). If present, keeps the app’s click sound switched off. Functional: the app reads it but does not set it by default.
These items stay until you clear your browser’s site data. Clearing them means you will need to scan the court’s QR code again.
The club dashboard
- Login cookie (
clickit_dash). Keeps club staff signed in to their dashboard. It cannot be read by scripts on the page (HttpOnly), and it expires after 30 days. Strictly necessary. Players never get this cookie.
Managing storage
You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. If we ever add anything that is not strictly necessary, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
