What is Clickit?
Clickit is an instant replay system for sports courts. We install a camera over the court and a button courtside. When a player presses it, the last 30 seconds of play are saved as a clip with your club's logo on it, ready on their phone.
Do players need to download an app or make an account?
No. Players scan the QR code at the court and their clips open in the phone's browser. There is nothing to install and no password to type.
Is the camera recording all the time?
The camera holds roughly the last 36 seconds in memory and keeps overwriting it. Nothing is saved unless someone presses the button or taps capture in the app. Clips are deleted automatically 4 hours after they are made, so players download the ones they want to keep.
Who can see the clips?
Only people who have scanned that court's QR code, which in practice means the people at the court. A player can share a single clip with a link that opens that clip only, and anyone with access can remove a clip.
What does my club need to provide?
Your existing WiFi and a normal plug socket. We supply, pre-configure and install the camera and button, then look after the system remotely.
Is it GDPR compliant?
Privacy is built in. The club decides how footage is used and Clickit handles it on the club's behalf. We provide the court signage, which must be up before a court goes live. There is no face recognition or tracking, and Clickit is for players aged 18 and over. Read the full privacy notice.
